Written from templates by people, not by AI. They never add a discount, a date or a claim you didn't type or pick, and the price appears only when you add it. Read each caption before you post, and add a line only you could write. Nothing you type leaves your browser.

How to use it
- 1
Describe your product
Its name and what it is, in the words you’d use with a customer. Add the price and one detail if you want them in the caption.
- 2
Pick the post type
New arrival, restock, bestseller, bundle, gift idea, how-to or behind the scenes. Each one has its own 5 captions.
- 3
Set the tone
Warm, playful or polished, and how people buy from you: the link in your bio, a message, or your shop.
- 4
Copy, then make it yours
Fill in anything in brackets, add one line only you could write, and read it once more before you post.
What makes a product caption sell
Name the product in the first line
People see the first line or two before they tap “more”. Put the product there, and the one thing that makes someone stop: what’s new about it, what it’s for, what it costs.
Say what the photo can’t
A photo shows color and shape. The caption has to carry the rest: the scent, the weight, the size, the fabric, how it feels in your hand. One concrete detail beats three adjectives.
Put the price in, or say where it is
A caption with no price sends people to your messages to ask, and many never do. If the price changes often, say where to find it instead: on the product page, at the link in your bio.
Ask for one thing
Shop from the link in the bio, send a message, or come by the shop: pick one. A caption that asks for three things gets none of them, so the generator ends each caption with the one you chose.
Only say what’s true
“New”, “bestseller” and “back in stock” are claims. The FTC’s guide for small businesses says advertising must be truthful and that you need evidence for what you claim. A crossed-out “was” price has to be the price you really offered it at, regularly, for a reasonably long stretch.
Keep hashtags few and specific
Instagram said in December 2025 that it would gradually limit captions to five hashtags, and suggested a few targeted ones rather than many generic ones. Name the product type and the material, then add one or two about the kind of post.
Questions
Is the product caption generator free?
Yes. It runs in your browser, with no sign-up and nothing to install. Nothing you type is sent to us: your product details stay in the page address, so you can bookmark a set or share it.
Does it use AI?
No. Every caption comes from templates written by people, filled in with the words you type. The same product always gives the same 5 captions, which is why it’s worth adding a line of your own before you post.
How long should a product caption be?
Long enough to say what it is, the detail that matters and how to buy. For most products that’s two to four short lines and a call to action. Save longer captions for how-tos and the making of a product, where people want the steps.
When can I say “back in stock” or “bestseller”?
Only when it’s true: the product really sold out and came back, or your own sales show it’s one of your best sellers. The FTC’s guide for small businesses says advertising must be truthful and claims need evidence. That’s why the generator never adds a discount, a deadline or a stock count you didn’t type.
Does Season write captions like these?
Season writes them a different way. It reads the products, photos and prices on your store’s website when its product pages can be read, writes each caption with AI for the post it goes with, designs the post in your brand’s style and publishes it on Instagram at set times, 3 months of posts at a time. Every Saturday you see the coming week and can skip or change any post. It says “new”, “bestseller” or “back in stock” only when your store does. It makes Instagram feed posts and carousels only: no Reels, Stories or video, and no other networks.
